Free Arkansas CDL HazMat Practice Test 2025

Whether you’re driving through the steep and winding roads of the Ozark and Ouachita Mountains in the northern and western regions, river crossings over the Mississippi River on the eastern side, or the rolling plains and farmlands in the central and eastern part of the state, there is certainly great beauty to behold in Arkansas as well as economic opportunities for commercial drivers. With your sights set on adding the Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement to your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), you need to be aware of a few matters.

With the Hazmat endorsement, you are allowed to transport materials that the U.S. government has judged hazardous. In Arkansas, materials that require a Hazmat endorsement for transport may include agricultural chemicals, petroleum products, industrial chemicals, and explosives and materials for mining. Because of the level of danger involved, the endorsement process includes several hurdles to ensure your safety as well as that of the public and the environment.

You’ll need to pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) fingerprinting and background check as well as the DMV knowledge test. The knowledge test addresses federal regulations, substance handling, material packaging, quantity limits, and transport configurations for hazardous materials. A score of 80% on Arkansas’s knowledge test, which is made up of 30 questions, is needed (Arkansas CDL Handbook 2025).

We have simplified this process because of the many economic opportunities available and a significant demand for Hazmat-endorsed drivers. There are multiple industries in Arkansas that require a Hazmat endorsement, including Walmart (Bentonville), Tyson Foods (Springdale), Delek US Holdings (El Dorado), and Nucor Steel (Blytheville), to name a few. So, how can you best prepare?

We have designed our Arkansas DMV Hazmat Endorsement practice tests to mimic what you will face on the official DMV test (https://m.driving-tests.org/arkansas/ar-cdl-hazmat-practice-test/). Additionally, our online practice tests are designed to get straight to what’s relevant for the test and avoid all the extra information you’ll find online. If you miss a question on our practice tests, you are immediately provided with a brief explanation of why a different response is better. Studies have shown that this real-time response aids in the learning process! Once you receive your TSA results (and are prepared because you used the wait time to study and practice), you’ll visit the DMV with the necessary documents, pay the fees, and confidently take the test.
